VR

There are lots of desktop software that allows you to do VR at home on your own laptop/desktop, this means that people don’t need to go to higher education to learn these skills.

Unity 3D is an app that is used to create VR games and is quickly becoming the default tool for VR development due to its ease of use and ability to quickly prototype VR applications with it. Unity 3D is free for personal use, so it is very accessible to people that want to learn how to make VR.

Blender is also another piece of software that is quickly becoming a favourite modeler for many VR developers. It’s free and open source software written in Python and is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux. There’s a huge community of people devoted to this software and its use. Many websites provide tutorial videos, forums, and documentation.

Owning VR device has even become more accessible and cheaper in the past years, with the release of the PlayStation VR, and it being only £299.99 to buy (not including the costs of the PS4).

With the raise of these software’s and devices means that people can now learn and produce VR products at home without going to higher education to learn this skill.

I found plenty of online tutorials on making VR applications such as.
