Interview of people that didn't go to uni

I then decided to interview two people that I know that decided to not go to university. 

The first one is one of my friends called Jaime, he was born in 2000 and finished college in 2018. I asked him his reasons for not going to university and he told me that when it was time for him to finish his UCAS application, he realised he did not know what he wanted to do, so he thought it would be better to take a gap year and maybe decide within that year. However, over that year he realised that uni wasn’t for him, and that he would prefer to just get a job. 

The other person that I interviewed was one of my other friends called Josh, he was born in 2000 and finished college in 2018. I asked him why he decided to not go to university and he told me that he chose to do an apprenticeships instead as he liked that it was paid education, and he was getting direct experience in the industry that he wanted to work in. Also he got a job guaranteed out of doing it. 

I found these two interviews interesting because it gives me an insight into some reasons why people decide to not go to university.
