Quotes and text for casebook

I found a video from the Salford Uni website; the video is about our course. I watched the video and took quotes from it to use in the course book that we are making.

“The one thing that really inspires us to take on students is not generally their technical ability it’s their drive and determination and where they want to go” – Mark Scargrill

“In my experience the teachers have been really friendly. They helped with not just your actual development in work but also personal development, having a lot more confidence, speaking up, and just being comfortable around people you haven’t met before.” – Ewan Doran

“They’ve really pushed us to be better as professionals” – Ewan Doran

“The thing I like most about this course is that it’s not specific to one media. So, we get to work along the whole range of them.” – Tara Turnpenny

Luke send us this for the course book, it is off of the salford website and has been edited slightly:

COURSE SUMMARY
Digital technology is advancing and forever expanding. People are wanting more and more interactive and immersive content from products and services. This course aims to improve your creativity, technilogical skills and entrepreneurial skills within the digital society so that you can be as impressive as the developers and strategists in our modern day world!
COURSE CONTENT
Year one will help you get an understanding of the work and skills you will be learning throughout your journey with us and help encourage you to seek opportunities, build confidence in your own skills and learn something new! You will be prototyping, produce working and creating interactive, immersive content.
Example Module: Digital Innovation and Technology
In year two you will be honing more towards your own abilities and strengths to develop a self-interest into industry work. This is where you will have contact with businesses via lectures and live briefs to improve your employability and create a portfolio displaying your own skills.
Example Module: Digital Design Specialism.
In your final year you will start to become more of a professional and less of a student. You will start to refine your own abilities and start communication with businesses as an employer where you will complete a final project of your own personal choice!
Example Module: Professional Development.
CAREER PROSPECTS
This course can help you meet demands the digital landscape has and allows you to prepare for a professional position such as user experience and user interface designers, social media strategists and front end developers.
There is a demand for both a creative and ‘engineered’ appreciation of user journeys and interactive content, for large organisations, through to SMEs and start-up companies.
